Why does windows download random files (videos, pictures) that I've never even seen before?
I have windows 7 in bootcamp on my mac and when I search for stuff on my mac it comes up with random sh*t from windows like vid and pic backgrounds, samples, icons, animations, that ive never even seen before. In windows is there an easy, non windowsy to get rid of all of them? thanks

Need help creating Lanschool-esque program. Control of other computers on local network?
Hi there,
First off, I'd like to say I have very little background in program coding, but I have the tools I need to create the program.
Really I'm looking for a lesson, or a kickstart in the right direction of how to go about creating the code to do the following functions on XP - school computers (very limited).
List of members on network-
Ability to lock mouse - (then release mouse)
Log out student
Restart computer
Open internet windows - close internet windows
close window, open window
Download program
Blank screen, Unblank screen
This may seem like a lot - but your help will be greatly appreciated.
This is using VB3 @ school but I'm using Real Studio to create it.
This is not for hacking, it's a project for me to try.
