Where does Windows 7 store RATINGS for my music files?
In the heading, you can pick and choose what gets displayed in the folder view. One of the things there is Rating. If you pick this, you can give 5 stars for some music or 1 star depending on how you like it. Anyway, I was wondering where Windows stores this info. Is it stored inside the music file??? Is it stored in the Windows registry? (if so, it is a stupid idea) Is it stored in an ini file somewhere? Is it stored within the NTFS file system? (if so, it means I lose the RATINGS if I copy the files from an NTFS file system to a FAT file system?)
