Registry Fixes And Optimization

Just like a new automobile, a new computer runs great at first; No issues, no headaches and great performance. Unfortunately, after using the PC for a while it slows down and sometimes even error messages start showing up. A vehicle that is breaking down would be taken to the mechanic shop to repair it, but what about your computer? Would you try fixing it yourself or would you go to the expert?

Various problems can affect your computer's performance. Very often it is the corrupted or invalid registry that slows down your system. Performing simple tasks like installing and uninstalling of different programs, adding/removing applications and hardware as well as regular computer usage will over time slow down your machine. Whenever a system action is performed (new install, version updates ...) the registry is updated with new data and system options. When registry is perfectly tuned-up it performs a very important role, but the registry keys and paths do not always function as they should. Often it happens that they are not properly updated and deleted -this then slows down your PC considerably since your computer has to go through unnecessary/corrupted entries and paths every time an operation is performed.

But what can an average PC user do in this case? How to fix and optimize registry? One option is to learn about registry system and do it yourself. You can manually go through the registry (checking and repairing registry paths and keys) but this is a time-consuming and potentially problematic task. If you erase or modify a wrong registry entry, some of your applications or peripherals may stop functioning correctly. An alternative to manual registry editing is to use a registry tool or a registry cleaner. This software utility will scan and check entire registry and repair the invalid keys and paths.

Registry cleaner tools are easy to use. By only doing a few clicks you can fix your Windows registry. This software scans your memory for problems and will then make recommendations about fixing and optimizing registry. You can then review these recommendations and approve the optimization. From this point on, the registry tool will automatically optimize and repair all the areas of your registry.

Where in the windows registry can I find out which connections are open? (Answers: 1) (Comments: 0)
I sometimes hear that particular sound from the hard disk similar to downloading data onto my computer, but I am not downloading anything, nor is there any internet connection open. So I guess my computer might be uploading data onto some servers without my knowledge. Is there a way to find out which connections are open on a pc at any moment using the windows registry?

How can I change a windows registry value if I cannot enter windows? (Answers: 4) (Comments: 0)
How can I change a windows registry value when I cannot enter windows? Is there any way to change it through the windows repair console? or DOS? No, I cannot enter safe mode. The thing is that I changed a registry value called Userinit and calls the file Userinit.exe. But when I did I forgot to put a comma in the end, so, now I end up logging in and right back out.
