are there going to be tax credits in 2011 for installing energy-saving windows in houses?
i already got my tax credits for 2010 by having half my windows upgraded. my supplier is having a sale in December, and i'd like to take adnatage of it. The windows won't be installed till Jan. 2011. to Ed Smurf: for the 2010 credit, the windows had to be installed by Dec. 31. my real question is, will there even BE a tax credit on windows in 2011? i think the answer is: Congress hasn't approved it yet, or may not at all. i know the Solar energy credit is good till 2016.
