Reinstalling Windows XP problem...? (Answers: 2) (Comments: 0)
I attempted to reinstall Windows XP last night...when I start from the CD (windows xp cd), it runs setup for a bit, then gives me three options: Reinstall Windows XP, Fix Windows XP, or quit setup....when I choose option 1 or 2, it says it could not located the hard disk drives. What do I do?
I'm reinstalling because everything runs horribly slow, I've backed up everything I need. I havn't done this in a long long time, so nothing is fresh in my memory. I called HP for assistance, but they want $100....I got the laptop for $370 during Black Friday two years ago, so that would not be cost effective in my opinion.
