How do I do all Win XP updates at once from SP1 to SP3?
I have a recovery disk for WinXP so when my computer crashes I just use this disk to wipe everything out and start from scratch. The thing is the recovery disk has Service Pack 1 and once I install it I have to go through 300+ updates before I hit Service Pack 3. This operation takes hours, because the computer needs to be restarted like 10 times and then wants more updates!!! Is there a way to do all the updates at once? Is there a software that can do this? Thanx!

i am trying to update a computer that has service pack 2 (xp machine) and i try to updateit and it takes me to to the windows update page but i always get an error message saying that it can't find the server please help :(

i need a working "xp update cd" product key?
i have an xp update cd but i have lost the key, i dont really need to activate it i just want to use the pc for a couple of days. thanks hi, sorry its an xp upgrade cd. my pc has been in the attic for the last year. alls i want to do it get some pics and videos off of the slave hard drive. then bin the pc! it had widows xp on before but as it was not activated i had to reinstall xp. as it kept logging me off as it was not activated! the cd was brought from pcworld a fair few years ago i upgraded the pc myself but over the years have lost the cd key! hi, thank you for that but the license key didnt work. its one of the first versions of xp that came out. does that make any difference? hi, the only reason was i have just moved to sheffield and dont really know any1 as yet. but will keep trying and see where i get! lol
